Anne Pays Biography.

Anne has lived in Lania Village, Cyprus, with her family for 13 years and her paintings reflect her love of Cyprus life and the local flora and fauna.

She has been interested in painting and drawing since a child, having inherited a talent from her father who was an accomplished water colour artist. Anne studied art at her Senior school and is a Merit Graduate of The London Art College.

Until recent years, she painted mainly for pleasure, gaining experience with various techniquies, including the use of oils, watercolour, acrylics, pencil and pastels.

Since her move to Cyprus, she has fulfilled several commissions, including the poster for Midsummer Nights Dream in the 1999 production for Shakespeare at Curium and has had work exhibited at various locations.

The opening of the Studio in Lania in 2005, provided good opportunity to show her work to the outside world. She especially enjoys painting portraits of animals and much beloved pets and has taken commissions to do so.
